Born in Ottawa, Canada, and raised as a young'n in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, I witnessed and experienced many situations which have molded me into the man that I have become today. As a youth, I was too young to remember when things went sour for my parents in Florida causing my mom to gather up what little belongings she owned and move back to Canada. While growing up upper-lower class, I was surrounded by a world recognized as 'The Hustle'. In other words, you do what you gotta do to make money... or the next man will.
My Dad remained in the picture and he, just like my mom played an important influence in my musical development. By the age of 10, I already had an extensive music library which clearly foreshadowed the many different styles in which I call upon today. However, the music career did not fully commence until I was persuaded by a local rapper named Odean. We had already been friends so it did not take too much persuasion to get me started. Thanks to a good connect, I was able to get Canada's Top Producer, Beat Merchant to help me get the setup poppin' off. Now, with a few years of experience under my belt, it was time to expand back to the United States specifically Kansas City, to work with an artist by the name of Tha Archer. Now with Tha Archer's debut project "I Am KC" and Niko Doughski's "Makin' That Doughski" mixtape both released in 2008 followed by Odean’s debut album, “The Coronation” in 2009, I have been honing my craft to create undeniable music that people can relate to.
I have created this blog to share with you the events that transpire on the day-to-day concerning my music career. Although much of these posts will be positive, there are times of darkness, whether it have to do with something to do with music or if it's simply emotions, I will share the ups and downs not simply the ups. This is real life, my life…my story.
